Larne hope for Keke Guillaume return
Larne are hoping that Championship Player of the Month Keke Guillaume is able to return from injury for today's crunch clash with Ards.
The free-scoring striker, who is currently on loan from Cliftonville, won the Northern Ireland Football Writers' Association's October award after hitting six goals in the month.
The in-form forward missed last Saturday's shock Steel & Sons Cup defeat at the hands of Albert Foundry as he was recovering from a hamstring injury in his native France.
Guillaume, who has scored 11 goals this season, is due to return to Northern Ireland today but it's not known whether he will be fit enough to start the Inver Park clash.
Larne boss David McAlinden said: "We're delighted that Keke has been recognised for his efforts in October, he certainly deserves this award. We're hoping he can play against Ards but we will not know for sure until he returns from his break in France."
Ards are currently second in Championship One, but will drop below Larne if they taste defeat.
Elsewhere in Championship One, leaders Harland & Wolff Welders have a great opportunity to make ground on at least one of Ards and Larne when they host Loughgall.
Bangor will be hoping to catch the leading pack by picking up three points against Institute at the Fuels Arena.
Holm Park will host a Mid-Ulster derby as Armagh City take on fourth-placed Lurgan Celtic, while fifth-placed Annagh United host Knockbreda.
Sean Paul Murray's first game as manager of Lisburn Distillery will see the Whites take on Dergview at New Grosvenor.
Murray's men are currently in the relegation zone with just four points. Basement side Donegal Celtic host an improved Ballyclare Comrades.
Game of the day in Championship Two sees leaders Limavady United travel to Castledawson to face Moyola Park.
