David Healy does not deserve criticism for poor Linfield start
I'm not having any of this nonsense that David Healy is under pressure as Linfield manager.
If any Blues fans are thinking of having a pop at David I'd say they are being very unfair, unrealistic and unreasonable.
My allegiance may lie in the east of the city with Glentoran but we should recognise that David inherited a group of players that weren't successful.
This Blues team under previous boss Warren Feeney was not winning league championships or cups so David could not possibly come in and perform miracles.
He needs time to sign players and build his team.
The reality is that Linfield haven't won any of the big prizes in the last three years.
Northern Ireland's record goalscorer has come to work in a fabulous new stadium which is taking shape and it's an exciting appointment for the Irish League.
This is a results based business but it is also David's first taste of management and it's a huge job.
He needs time and support to close the gap on squads as strong as Crusaders and Cliftonville.
He certainly does not deserve any stick.
