Shield final next year

Published 03/12/2009

The Paddy Power County Antrim Shield final has been put back until next year.

The Crusaders v Linfield showdown at the Oval will now kick off on Tuesday, January 5 (7.35).

Attempts to play the game at the east Belfast venue on Tuesday night were wiped out by the wet weather.

Ironically, the final could have kicked off on the Crues’ new all-weather 4G playing surface at Seaview!
