Glentoran and Linfield fans will have an extra couple of hours to get over their Christmas Day indulgences this year.

Sky Sports have confirmed that the Big Two Boxing Day meeting will be the second game of their deal to show Carnegie Premier League games following last month's opening match between Cliftonville and the Blues.

The satellite station are barred from screening games in the 3pm slot and that has meant a switch of kick-off time for the Glens and Blues.

Instead the game will start at the unusual time of 5.20pm - another first for an Irish League game after the Cliftonville and Linfield game was the first ever domestic fixture to be screened on live television.

Sky will show at least another three matches this season.
