Sky's Red and Blue encore

Cliftonville and Linfield have been lined-up for another Sky Sports showdown in the New Year.

The Reds v Blues Premier League opener back in September was the first local fixture to be screened live by the satellite broadcasters under their agreement with the Irish FA.

And the 2-2 draw was such a success that the return meeting has now been selected as Sky's third Irish Premier League offering.

The game at Windsor Park, scheduled for Saturday January 5, will now take place on Monday January 7.

It means that Linfield will be involved in all of Sky's first three live Irish League games, with their Boxing Day trip to Glentoran also being screened.
