Paton out of Northern Ireland squad

A knee injury has forced Paul Paton out of Northern Ireland's squad for their forthcoming internationals.

The Irish Football Association said on Sunday that the Dundee United man would miss the games against Scotland and Finland with the problem.

Lee Hodson of Milton Keynes Dons has been called up in his place.

Dundee United midfielder Paton, born in Paisley, had the chance to face his home country in Wednesday's friendly at Hampden Park but will now miss out.
