Portadown progress

Portadown will face Slaven Koprivnica in the second round

Portadown came from behind to beat Shkendija 2-1 and advance to the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

Having put themselves in a strong position with a 0-0 draw in the first leg in FYR Macedonia, Portadown undid the good work by conceding a fourth-minute goal as Ardian Cuculi finished from close range.

But Richard Lecky headed them level in the 58th minute and Ross Redman won it with a free-kick 10 minutes from time.

Portadown will now face Slaven Koprivnica of Croatia in the second round, with the first leg on July 19.
