Arsene Wenger cautious before West Brom game

Arsene Wenger has warned his Arsenal team to take nothing for granted when West Brom visit the Emirates today.

After a 6-0 opening day humbling at Chelsea, the Baggies have picked up some decent results in recent weeks, and dumped an under-strength Manchester City out of the Carling Cup.

“We are very, very cautious before this game, because we expect West Brom to play a good football game,” Wenger said.

“What is important is we keep the momentum going and we can only do that if we are on full cylinders.

“We are on a good run and for us it's down to focus and putting the pressure on teams in every single game.”

Wenger will again be without captain Cesc Fabregas but the Spain midfielder may recover from his hamstring problem in time for the trip to Stamford Bridge on October 3, as could left-back Kieran Gibbs who picked up a foot injury at Tottenham.
