Bournemouth close on double signing
Bournemouth have had a £15million bid for winger Jordon Ibe accepted by Liverpool and are close to completing a deal to sign Leeds midfielder Lewis Cook, Press Association Sport understands.
Ibe has been given permission to speak to the Cherries after a 2015-16 season that saw him make only 12 Premier League starts for the Reds.
The 20-year-old has been with Liverpool since joining from Wycombe in 2011.
Ibe, who has a total of 58 Liverpool appearances to his name, made his Reds first-team debut on the final day of the 2012-13 Premier League season.
He spent time on loan with Birmingham during the following campaign, then with Derby in the season after that, and has also played four times for England Under-21s.
The news of Liverpool accepting a bid for him comes after they recruited winger Sadio Mane from Southampton last month.
Cook would join Bournemouth after a whirlwind two years as a professional.
The 19-year-old academy graduate has been an ever-present for Leeds since making his debut in August 2014, scoring two goals in 85 appearances.
Cook, who was named the Football League's young player of the year in April, is out of contract next summer.
Garry Monk had been hopeful of keeping Cook at Elland Road - with the new Leeds boss requesting he be omitted from the England Under-19 squad for this month's European Championship so he could complete a full-pre-season with the club - but now appears set to lose the talented teenager.
Cook has been a long-term target for Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, who is reshaping his squad after a promising first season in the Barclays Premier League.
Ibe and Cook would join Lys Mousset, Nathan Ake and Emerson Hyndman as new additions to a Cherries squad which is shorn of Tommy Elphick and Matt Ritchie.
