Chelsea are this morning believed to be close to clinching their second major signing of the summer with Brazilian striker Hulk set to join from Porto for a fee of £38m.
Just days after agreeing a £32m deal to bring highly-rated midfielder Eden Hazard from Lille, the move to sign Hulk highlights the determination of owner Roman Abramovich to rebuild the side despite Chelsea's recent Champions League triumph.
Hulk has won 10 caps for Brazil and is expected to sign once personal terms are finalised.
