Chelsea defender Gary Cahill claimed he was the victim of a foul so blatant it could have been seen from the moon in the lead-up to Swansea's second goal in Sunday's 2-2 draw.

Leroy Fer scored to put the Swans 2-1 up, but only after appearing to foul the England international as he dispossessed him.

A furious Cahill told BBC Sport: "Clear, clear foul. You could be sat on the moon, the top of the stand, anywhere in the stadium, you can see that's a clear foul for me.

"I took the touch away from him. It's not like he's come from the side of me, he's come from behind me.

"I felt the foul clear as day on the pitch and seeing it back has made me even more angry."

Cahill revealed he went to see referee Andre Marriner after the game.

"I didn't go in kicking the door down, I went in to see him for an explanation," he added.

"Between the three of them (Marriner and his assistants) they've just said that they didn't see that which for me is incredible.

"It's all fun and games for the fans, but it's me that suffers performance-wise, because I thought I had a very good game today. That kills me personally and more important than anything it kills my team."

Cahill posted video of the incident on his Twitter account along with a series of angry faces, calling the decision "incredible".
