Fulham are just one of many clubs casting an eye over Catania striker Maxi Lopez, according to the player's agent.
The 27-year-old has proven a hit since joining the Sicilian club and could be a wily addition for the goal-shy Cottagers. Martin Jol's side have scored just 22 goals in 20 Barclays Premier League matches, while speculation remains over the future of strikers Bobby Zamora and Andrew Johnson.
Catania sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco have claimed the west Londoners have made a bid for the former Barcelona striker. "On Maxi Lopez there are no developments as yet, but an offer has been received from Fulham and we are evaluating it,'' Lo Monaco told Radio Mana Mana.
"We are waiting to see what the Italian clubs will do. AC Milan are definitely out, while we will see what happens with Fiorentina. Lazio? I don't think they need Maxi."
Maxi's agent Andrea D'Amico claims numerous clubs from across Europe are chasing his signature.
"I don't comment on Lo Monaco's words, you have to ask him," he told www.skysports.com.
"For our part we are waiting for news, this is an evolving situation. We are at a phase of work, because every day there are so many contacts and many voices.
"Maxi has been linked to AC Milan, Inter, Fiorentina, English and German clubs, but before speaking, I expect something concrete. "
D'Amico also represents Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta, who has also been linked to a move to England with Newcastle.
Asked of the report, he added: "We will evaluate what to do with Juventus, I cannot make predictions. If he would accept a move to England? It depends on many things."
