Jose Mourinho has been widely tipped to succeed Louis van Gaal as manager at Manchester United after the Dutchman left his role on Monday night.

A move to United for the Portuguese coach would set up an intriguing head-to-head against Pep Guardiola, who is taking over at Manchester City, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
