Leicester to test West Brom's resolve over Jonny Evans
Leicester City are considering a second bid for Northern Ireland defender Jonny Evans.
West Brom rejected a £10m bid for Evans last week, insisting that the 29 year-old was not for sale at any price, but Leicester are prepared to test their resolve.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is weighing up whether to make Juventus an offer for Dani Alves to strengthen his full-back options. City, who do not have an experienced right back after releasing out-of-contract duo Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna, have also been linked with Tottenham's Kyle Walker.
Meanwhile, Leicester are poised to confirm the appointment of Michael Appleton as Craig Shakespeare's number two. Appleton, the Oxford manager, is expected to complete his move to the Foxes this week.
