Manchester City's Emyr Huws signs long-term Wigan deal
Emyr Huws has made his loan move from Manchester City to Wigan permanent, signing a four-year deal with the Sky Bet Championship club.
The Wales international, 20, signed a new City contract in August prior to joining Wigan on loan until January, but quickly impressed Latics manager Uwe Rosler, who has snapped him up for an undisclosed fee.
"Everybody can see what a very talented player Emyr is, and from the first training session with us leading through to the games he has played, he has been very good," Rosler told the Wigan website.
"At just 20 years old he is already with the full Welsh national team and the chance to sign him on a long-term contract was too good an opportunity to turn down."
Huws joined City from Swansea as a 16-year-old in 2009.
