Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says his relationship with Manchester United counterpart Jose Mourinho isn't as bad as it's made out to be ahead of the derby.

Prior to today's massive Premier League clash at Old Trafford (kick-off 12.30pm), much has been made about the renewal of the rivalry between ex-Barcelona boss Guardiola and former Real Madrid man Mourinho.

But Guardiola insists that there is no animosity between the two, and even claimed he would share a drink with his long-time foe.

"I'll accept if he invites me," was the reply when he was asked if he would continue on with Sir Alex Ferguson's tradition.

Mourinho was less forthcoming with his praise for Guardiola, but did state he was wary of the Spaniard, and the team, opposing him again. He said: "City have a very good manager. They are a title contender and you have to respect them."
