Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho's disciplinary record
Jose Mourinho has been handed a one-match ban and fines totalling £58,000 after being hit with two Football Association misconduct charges in the space of a week.
Here, Press Association Sport looks at Mourinho's disciplinary record since the start of his second spell at Chelsea and during his United reign.
:: CARDIFF DISMISSAL (October 19, 2013)
Sent to the stands during a 4-1 win over Cardiff by referee Anthony Taylor.
Disciplined: Charge of improper conduct accepted. Fine of £8,000.
:: TOUCHLINE TICKING-OFF (March 15, 2014)
Dismissed by referee Chris Foy during an ill-tempered Chelsea loss at Aston Villa.
Disciplined: Contested a charge of improper conduct, unsuccessfully. Fined £8,000 and warned over future conduct.
:: BLACK DAY AGAINST BLACK CATS (April 19, 2014)
Following his first home Premier League loss as Chelsea boss, Sunderland ending Mourinho's 77-game unbeaten Stamford Bridge run, he made a sarcastic appraisal of referee Mike Dean and referees' chief Mike Riley.
Disciplined: Failed in a challenge over charges and was fined £10,000.
:: SAINTS AND A SINNER (December 28, 2014)
Complained of a "clear campaign" against Chelsea after Cesc Fabregas was denied a penalty and instead booked in a 1-1 draw at Southampton.
Disciplined: Fined £25,000 after unsuccessfully contesting improper conduct charge.
:: ANOTHER SAINTLY EPISODE (October 3, 2015)
Criticised referee Robert Madley following a 3-1 loss to Southampton, saying referees were "afraid" to give Chelsea penalties and told officials to "be honest with us".
Disciplined: Judged to have implied bias, fined £50,000 and given a suspended one-match stadium ban. Had an appeal rejected.
:: HAMMERED (October 24, 2015)
After Chelsea imploded late in the first half, Mourinho was sent to the stands at West Ham for a half-time "discussion" with referee Jonathan Moss.
Disciplined: Handed one-match stadium suspension with immediate effect and fined £40,000 after admitting FA charge of misconduct. Opted not to appeal and missed a match at Stoke.
:: REFEREE REFERENCE (October 27, 2016)
Charged with misconduct after commenting about referee Taylor prior to Manchester United's goalless draw at Liverpool.
Disciplined: Mourinho accepted his comments constituted improper conduct but denied they brought the game into disrepute - although the FA ruled otherwise. Fined £50,000 and warned as to future conduct.
:: CLARETS CONFUSION (October 29, 2016)
Mourinho was sent to the stands for the second half against Burnley by referee Mark Clattenburg after allegedly using ''abusive and/or insulting words towards a match official'' in the tunnel at half-time.
Disciplined: Mourinho admitted the charge and was given a one-match touchline ban and a fine of £8,000.
