How close is Griezmann to Manchester United now? Plus today's other transfer rumours

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho refused to comment on his club's chances of signing Antoine Griezmann last night.

Mourinho was questioned about the French attacker after United's Europa League final win over Ajax.

"I do not want to talk about Griezmann because that would be disrespectful to his club, Atletico," he told BeIN Sports.

"Just how I do not like others talking about by my players, I'm not going to talk about Antoine either."

Griezmann was earlier this week quoted as saying his chances of joining United were 6/10.

"Today, if I have to move it will be no problem," he told L'Equipe. "I'm ready to go.

"I want to win titles. We finished third in La Liga, it was the objective of the club, but we, the players, want more.

"Winning titles is what I will look for this summer when deciding on my future."

Now that Mourinho's men can offer Champions League football and are already installed as joint second favourites to win next season's Premier League title, surely his chances of heading for Old Trafford have gone up after last night's victory.

Meanwhile, ROSS BARKLEY will not be signing a new contract with Everton, according to the Mirror.

The England international will either leave Goodison Park this summer or wait until next year, when he will be out of contract.

Everton reportedly value the midfielder at £50million, with Tottenham and Manchester United among those linked with the 23-year-old.

Newcastle are hoping to land Sporting Lisbon midfielder WILLIAM CARVALHO, according to the Daily Star via Portuguese newspaper O Jogo.

The Portugal international reportedly has a £39million release clause and has also been linked with Arsenal and Manchester City.

The Sun claims MARCUS RASHFORD is in line for a pay rise at Manchester United.

It is reported that the 19-year-old striker will get a £10,000 a week increase on his four-year deal.

Crystal Palace hope to appoint MARCO SILVA as their next manager, reports the Independent.

The Hull boss has seen talks with Porto break down and has been linked with both Palace and Watford.
