Wolves midfielder Jamie O'Hara has revealed he requires pain-killing injections to enable him to play while he fully recovers from a double hernia operation.
O'Hara returned to action last month after being sidelined for six weeks following surgery although he is still in some discomfort.
But the former Tottenham player is determined to help Wolves in their battle for Barclays Premier League survival, and said: "I'm still trying to get back to full fitness."
He added: "I've been having injections before training and games.
"I'm just desperate to play and don't want to miss any more games. I've had enough of that with being out for six weeks so I'm fighting with things a little bit.
"Hopefully over the next few weeks, things will settle down and I'll be able to play pain-free."
O'Hara added: "At this time of the season, you just want to be playing and I want to help the team as much as I can.
"It's a big three months for our season and I want to be involved.
"The goal for everyone is to stay in the Premier League."
