Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp insists Roman Pavlyuchenko has a "big future" at the club, despite considering a test of the Jermain Defoe-Robbie Keane partnership.
Pavlyuchenko is returning from a back injury but could still miss out this weekend as Redknapp has been pairing his two January recruits in training.
They missed the opportunity to play together last weekend at Manchester United as Defoe was mourning the death of his half-brother Jade — but he is back in the squad for the visit of West Brom.
"Roman's done well, I've been pleased with him," Redknapp said.
"He's got great feet, he can shoot, great touch, and I think he has a big future at Tottenham."
