Denmark international Simon Poulsen insists he "knows nothing" of Aston Villa's reported interest in signing him from AZ Alkmaar.
Villa have been linked with a cut-price move in January for the utility player, whose contract with the Eredivisie leaders expires next summer but the 27-year-old, who can play at left-back and in midfield, is adamant there have been no concrete developments.
Poulsen told the Wolverhampton Express and Star: "Aston Villa, what can I say? It's a beautiful club but I also know nothing about Villa's interest in me. I've only heard that from the media. My agent will only notify me only if there is something concrete."
