Tamas happy with Baggies
The agent of Gabriel Tamas insists the defender intends to stay with West Brom despite speculation linking him with a move away from The Hawthorns.
The 29-year-old Romanian, who joined the Baggies in 2010, has a year remaining on his contract, and had been linked with a move to Championship club Leeds.
But his representative John Kirtland fully expects Tamas to be a West Brom player come the start of the new season.
Kirtland also stated an incident in Romania, where Tamas was caught on camera breaking into a Bucharest block of flats, had been "dealt with".
"Gabi is ready to come back to West Brom for pre-season and fight for a place in the team," he told the Birmingham Mail.
"The matter (in Romania) has been dealt with as far as we're concerned. If West Brom want to have any further conversations with him then they will - they've not mentioned that they wish to see him urgently.
"From Gabi's point of view, he returns to pre-season on July 7 and appreciates it's a big year for him.
"He's settled at West Brom and is determined to impress the coaching staff.
"We will look and see where he is during the season. Players come and go between now and the end of the transfer window.
"If Gabi is still at West Brom but he's not playing, then we will re-assess his options around Christmas time."
