Chelsea skipper John Terry has predicted a “fight to the death” in the Premier League title race.
Terry, who lifted the Community Shield on Sunday after a penalty shootout victory over Manchester United, said: “It will be close, as it has been for the last four or five years.
“We have been pushing United closely and when we won it, they were pushing us, so it'll be a fight to the death. But I am sure that at the same time, Liverpool, Arsenal and possibly Manchester City will be pushing and upsetting a few good teams as well.”
Meanwhile, Hull are close to signing Republic of Ireland winger Stephen Hunt after agreeing a fee with his current club Reading.
