Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Sunday scored the 25,000th Premier League goal.

Here, Press Association Sport's Tom White takes a statistical look at the goals since the competition's inception in 1992.

(All statistics as at 3.21pm, November 6, when the 25,000th goal was scored)

:: 47 different teams have scored Premier League goals.

:: Manchester United top the chart, with Ibrahimovic's strike their 1,817th in the Premier League. Arsenal and then Chelsea are their nearest challengers.

:: Cardiff's 32 is the lowest tally, five fewer than Barnsley. Among the 20 teams currently in the top flight, Bournemouth have the fewest with 58.

:: Nine teams have scored at least 1,000 Premier League goals. Seventeen have 500, with Leicester needing another 20 to become the 18th, and 40 have at least 100 with Burnley 19 away.

:: No two teams have the same tally of Premier League goals.
