Iain Dowie admits Hull are “running out of games" as they bid to preserve their Barclays Premier League status.
Defeat at home to Sunderland tomorrow coupled with a West Ham win over Wigan would effectively relegate Dowie's side.
"I choose to say we've got to win the game," he said.
"But we are running out of games. Saturday is a must-win.
"When we came here it was one win in 17 games, if we get two wins in seven games that's a turnaround so let's make sure we take care of our business.”
