West Ham v Stoke: Story of the match
Stoke denied West Ham a third straight victory at the London Stadium after substitute Bojan Krkic's strike secured a 1-1 draw.
The hosts looked to be heading for a much-needed victory after Glenn Whelan's second-half own goal.
Erratic goalkeeping from Adrian then led to Stoke's equaliser, taking the visitors up to 11th in the Premier League and leaving 16th-placed West Ham just four points off the bottom three.
TWEET OF THE MATCH: "How can #WHUFC fans create the necessary home atmosphere without being allowed to stand and make noise? Feels like a cricket crowd." - Journalist @MitchWaddon was frustrated about the lack of atmosphere in the London Stadium.
STAR MAN: Joe Allen, Stoke. The classy midfielder was his team's most impressive performer on an otherwise-uninspiring afternoon. He was responsible for setting the tempo they played with and for much of their creativity and direction. It is those around him who needed to improve.
MOAN OF THE MATCH: Beyond the good fortune that ensured his header deflected off of Glenn Whelan and took an unusual flight into the back of the net, Michael Antonio provided very little quality. That may not seem entirely unusual, but on the day before the latest England squad is to be announced, it was the latest demonstration he is not good enough for the national team.
SURPRISE OF THE MATCH: Stoke showed little more than potential when West Ham goalkeeper Adrian inexplicably rushed out to attempt to beat Jon Walters to Charlie Adam's pass. Walters was far from close to going one-on-one and there were other defenders around Adrian, so quite what he was thinking only he will know. For a usually-competent goalkeeper, there was no predicting such an unusual mistake.
