Zabaleta could face Gunners

Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta is confident he will be fit for Saturday's Barclays Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The Argentina full-back limped off during the team's 4-2 friendly win over Germany last week following a challenge from Gunners forward Lukas Podolski.

Zabaleta told City's official website on Thursday: "It was a hard tackle and I still have some discomfort but it's getting better each day.

"I've been doing some running on my own earlier in the week but I'll be fine for the game.

"I still have a couple more days before we play and by then I should be fully fit."
