David Healy set to face Norwich
Monday, 24 August 2009
Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has admitted he will have to make changes for tonight's Carling Cup second round trip to Norwich after a gruelling start to the new season.
Bruce claimed after Saturday's 2-1 Barclays Premier League victory over Blackburn that his squad had “hundreds” of knock.
Northern Ireland striker David Healy could get some vital game time ahead of next month’s World Cup double header.
Summer signing Paulo da Silva could be handed a debut after working his way towards match fitness following a delay in his arrival.
