West Ham watchers are increasingly resigning themselves to a fire sale this January as their financial woes catch up with them. But it won't just be about cost cuts and manager Rafael Benitez will want to replace the dead wood in the squad with new talent. With the summer's big signing Alberto Aquilani hardly on the field yet, it is unlikely that he'll get huge money to spend, but some fresh blood is needed.
