A Manchester United fan has recreated Wembley Stadium in his front room after failing to obtain a ticket to see his heroes play tomorrow.
Phil Spark brought football home to his front room with the installation of a turnstile, fake turf, stadium seats and a pie heater borrowed from a local chippy.
The 25-year-old surveyor even papered the walls of his home in Didsbury, Manchester, with scenes of match day crowds and has installed the obligatory huge flat-screen television on the wall.
Mr Spark completed the home makeover in time for Manchester United's showdown with Tottenham Hotspur in the Carling Cup final.
He said: “This is the next best thing to being there. I was gutted when I couldn't get a ticket for the game but I've spent the last few weeks making sure I won't miss any of the action or atmosphere.
“I may even charge my mates to come round for the best view in Didsbury.”
