Real Madrid 'will spend' £200m on Kaka, Ronaldo, Vidic, Alonso and Villa

Spanish giants Real Madrid are prepared to shell out an astonishing £200 million this summer to make themselves kings of Europe again – and they plan to raid Manchester United and Liverpool to do it.

Word from Spain today suggested that new Real President Fiorentina Perez has made it plain he doesn’t just want to bring AC Milan playmaker Kaka and Old Trafford superstar Cristiano Ronaldo to the Bernabeu, he is going all out to sign United defender Nemanja Vidic, Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso and Valencia’s David Villa as well!

The proposed fees for the fab five are:

  • Ronaldo £60 million
  • Kaka £56 million
  • Villa £35 million
  • Vidic £30 million
  • Alonso £20 million

Perez’s intent will stun football and could change the face of the game if he is successful.

Having watched Barcelona cruise to Champions League glory, Real are desperate to outdo their fierce rivals next season.

Today Milan were insisting that despite reports in Spain, no deal has been struck for Kaka, but even in Italy the feeling is that he is on his way. Chelsea are refusing to give up on signing the brilliant Brazilian, but Real are favourites.

As for Ronaldo, the courting process has started with Perez waxing lyrical about the United star in a press conference to announce Manuel Pellegrini as the new Real coach.

Valencia’s Villa has been a long time target and Vidic, also admired by Barcelona, has come on the agenda because it is understood his wife has failed to adapt to life in Manchester. Then there is Alonso, who Real are confident of signing even though Rafael Benitez has stated the midfielder is staying at Anfield.

Ronaldo went to Real Madrid for 80 million not 60 million and Kaka went to Real Madrid for 63 million not 56 million

Sounds like a great team, but Marcelo and Torres (assuming Heinze is leaving, like he should) are sub par as left back.

Getting all those players sounds far-fetched, but selling the dutch squad will bring in almost half of that amount (Robben, Sneijder, Huntelaar, Van Nistelrooy, Van der Vaart, and Drenthe).

20m for the best passer in Europe?? I think Liverpool will sell Alonso but the price will be at least 30m although Real will fob us off with some 2nd rate squad player like they did when Owen went and they gave us Nunez. Yeah, cheers amigo.

Could be an excellent season next year for Real Madrid.

Ronaldo has carried Manchester United for 3 seasons and deserves to have the shackles released so he can move on to a bigger and better club.

Real Madrid, with the new Galacticos, is the perfect place for a man of his talent. No longer will he have to carry journeymen like Fletcher, Park or Ferdinand and will be allowed to prosper on the biggest stage in the world.

Ronaldo is the World Player of the Year, Man Utd is too small for him.

Yea right. Problems with this:

1/ No quotes
2/ No empirical evidence
3/ The manager would have to win the treble or be seen as a failure with those players
4/ We know this is impossible as Vidic wouldn't leave United, Chelsea want Kaka, Ronaldo knows United will win more in the upcoming seasons and Alonso plays for Liverpool who hammered Real this season.

What a poor piece of journalism. Looks like you scoured the internet for the best rumors you can find and out them together for this tripe. Do you really get paid for this?

Billy on the Box: DD’s big pair puts on blue show in Bavaria

What an epic battle the Champions League Final turned out to be. A clash between an organisation with a long and distinguished history, respected by friend and foe alike up against a relative newcomer, the plaything of a foreign oligarch, who is universally viewed with raised eyebrows.
