Republic of Ireland climb world rankings

The Republic of Ireland have moved up to 31st in the latest FIFA world rankings following their Euro 2016 play-off win against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Northern Ireland topped their group to qualify for the tournament in France next summer, and are just one place ahead (30th).

Scotland have dropped down to 52nd, England remain ninth, with Wales 17th.

Belgium, Argentina and Spain make up the top three, with world champions Germany slipping to fourth.
