Peter the Bhoy for Celtic

Published 29/07/2009

Magherafelt teenager Peter Bradley could be joining Northern Ireland internationals Paddy McCourt, Niall McGinn and Danny Lafferty at Celtic.

The 18-year-old is on trial with Tony Mowbray’s side this week after his club Cowdenbeath allowed him to go to Parkhead, after the Glasgow giants requested a closer look at the centre-back.

The former Institute and Maiden City Soccer player, who has attracted attention from the likes of Newcastle United, West Brom Albion and Leicester City over the years, was spotted by Celtic’s scouts this summer.

Bradley, who has broken into the Scottish Third Division side’s first team squad this summer has been training at Celtic’s Lennoxtown training complex.

It is believed the former Northern Ireland international and Celtic first team coach Neil Lennon spotted the Loup man during a recent Cowdenbeath pre-season friendly.
