Title is ours for keeps, Thomson tells Celts

Kevin Thomson has predicted Rangers will dominate Scottish football for years to come after clinching the SPL at the end of last season.
Walter Smith's men finally ended an agonising wait to get their hands on the trophy again when they halted Celtic's bid for a fourth successive title.
Now that the silverware is back at Ibrox and the balance of power has shifted to the other side of Glasgow, Thomson sees no reason why Rangers should give up their crown any time soon.
The midfielder said: “The way Scottish football is at the moment, the team that's in the ascendancy is really hard to overcome.
“I think the team who wins the league can go on and win the league year after year after year.
“With the squad we have at this club, and the manager we have at the club and the fantastic players we have, there is no reason why we can't go and win back to back titles. I'm pretty sure the quality of the squad is more than capable of doing that.”
Meanwhile, Rangers will continue their preparations for the new season with a friendly against Portsmouth at Fratton Park on Saturday, August 8.
