St Patrick's bow out

St Patrick's saw their Europa League hopes ended after a convincing defeat to Karpaty Lviv 3-1 defeat on the night in the third qualifying round second leg - a 5-1 aggregate reverse.

The Ukrainian side came to Dublin with a 2-0 win behind them from the first clash and never looked like losing the advantage.

Evan McMillan equalised Sergei Zenjov's opener after 57 minutes but Ihor Khudobyak and Igor Oschypko netted to secure the win for Karpaty.
