While all eyes were on the main finals at the Ballymena Showgrounds, there were a series of subsidiary Milk Cup competitions played across the tournament's 14 venues.

The Junior Salver third placed play-off between Tyrone and Fermanagh at the Joey Dunlop Centre had a thrilling climax when Tyrone goalkeeper Jamie Brown headed home an injury time corner-kick to send the game to a penalty shoot-out. Fermanagh won the shoot-out 5-4.

In the Premier section, CSKA Moscow claimed third spot for the second year in a row by beating Real Sociedad 4-2 in Portstewart.

Chilean side O'Higgins won the Globe by beating Newcastle United 2-0 at Coleraine Showgrounds.

While OC Blues' Junior side picked up the wooden spoon, their Premier team won the Bowl, which some might suggest is useful combination. The California boys beat Otago 3-1.

French side Vendee were the story of last year's Milk Cup, reaching the final of the main tournament. This year they had to settle for the Salver League title with a 2-0 win over Fermanagh in Castlerock.

In the Junior section, David Bryson's County Down lost the Globe final 1-0 to Rangers in Ballymoney, the goal coming from Jordan Houston.

Sheffield United won the Vase with a 1-0 victory over Brentford, while Londonderry lifted the Junior Bowl after beating GPS Bayern on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

Mexican side Zacatepec won the Salver trophy by beating Strikers on penalties after a 2-2 draw. Swindon Town collected the Shield with a 2-1 win over Dundalk Schools.

And Liverpool fans turned out in number to watch their side finish their tournament on a high note by beating County Antrim 3-0 at Rugby Avenue in the Dale Farm Milk Cup third-place play-off, with Paul Glatzel hitting a hat-trick.
