Video: Injured Greek footballer Leondardo Koutris dropped not once, but twice from stretcher

Published 19/10/2015

It’s bad enough getting injured in a football match – but when the medical staff can’t even manage to keep you on the stretcher, that’s when you know it’s just not your day.

Unfortunately, that’s what happened to Ergotelis FC midfielder Leondardo Koutris in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at AE Larissa in the Greek second divison.

As he was being taken from the pitch in the 74th minute of the match, Koutris was dropped twice by medical staff as they carried him off the field on a stretcher.
