Northern Ireland have dropped six places in the new FIFA World rankings table.

In the new rankings announced on Thursday, they have dropped six places from September to 36th.

Elsewhere the Republic are 33rd with England 12th and Wales a place above.

Scotland sit 57th.

Argentina continue to sit atop the pile ahead of Germany and Brazil.

Earlier this year Michael O'Neill's team had reached its highest ever position of 25th following a stellar showing at the European Championships.

The latest position for the Green and White Army comes after a defeat to World Champions Germany, a win against San Marino and a draw against the Czech Republic.
