Antrim kept their promotion hopes firmly on course with a comprehensive 10-point win over Leitrim in Corrigan Park.

A goal from Tomas McCann late in the first half turned the game in Antrim's favour after the visitors bossed the opening stages. Early frees from Emlyn Mulligan (two), Ronan Kennedy and a '45 from Kevin Conlan had the Connacht side 0-4 to 0-1 ahead with Niall McKeever scoring Antrim's opening point.

Kevin Niblock pointed on 22 minutes before a Conlan '45 and another Mulligan free had Leitrim 0-6 to 0-2 ahead.

Tomas McCann scored a goal to cut the gap to a point and then hit two late frees to give Antrim a slender one-point lead at the break.

McCann brought his tally to 1-8 in the second half with Burke and the Murray brothers, Conor and Ryan, all getting on the scoresheet.

Mulligan (0-7) kept the scoreboard ticking over for Leitrim but Brian Neeson scored a wonderful lob to put the icing on the cake for Antrim.
