'Brick' seeks improvement

Stradbally captain Michael 'Brick' Walsh has admitted that his side will have to show a vast improvement if they are to have any chance of beating Nemo Rangers in the Munster Club SFC semi-final.

The Waterford side struggled to a 0-7 to 0-4 win over Doonbeg of Clare to book their place in the last four.

"We have a lot of improvement to make over the next two weeks. That performance would not come near Nemo," said Walsh.

"We held on to the ball and we worked it well. We maybe had more experience than Doonbeg. While we struggled a bit near the end, our backs played well."
