Canty doubtful for Sunday

Doubts are growing over Cork captain Graham Canty's participation in Sunday's All-Ireland SFC final against Down.

Canty failed to take any part in a final inter-squad game at the weekend, due to a hamstring injury he suffered in the quarter-final win over Roscommon.

Should the Bantry man fail to recover, dual star Eoin Cadogan is set to step in to the starting line-up.

Down skipper Ambrose Rodgers is also fighting an uphill battle, having missed the semi-final against Kildare due to a knee injury.
