Carr hails Crokes fightback

Kilmacud Crokes manager Paddy Carr hailed the courage of his players, after they came from seven points down to defeat Portlaoise by 2-7 to 2-4 in the Leinster Club SFC.

"There are wiser people than me involved in the club and a lot of them came down to the dressing-room afterwards and said that, in terms of the pressures we faced, that was one of the sweetest victories in the history of Kilmacud," he said.

Declan Kelleher was the match-winning hero with a decisive goal two minutes from the end.
