Clarinbridge edge thriller

Eanna Murphy's 82nd minute goal earned Clarinbridge a place in the All-Ireland Club SHC final in an extra-time epic against De La Salle at Semple Stadium.

The Galway men led by 0-11 to 0-8 at half-time, with the Kerins brothers, Alan and Mark, their main marksmen. But Clarinbridge needed a late Mark Kerins goal to send the tie to added time.

His second goal was cancelled out by an Eoghan Madigan strike for the Waterford men, but despite John Mullane's 11 points tally De La Salle were denied by Murphy's late winner.
