Donaghy inspires Kerry to victory

Full forward Kieran Donaghy inspired Kerry to a 1-13 to 1-9 win over Armagh at the Athletic Grounds.

The big target man failed to score himself, but his ball-winning exploits set up 1-6 for his colleagues as they came from behind to keep their NFL Division One title challenge alive.

Armagh went ahead with a Kieran Toner goal on 20 minutes, but points from Bryan Sheehan and Colm Cooper brought Kerry level at 1-4 to 0-7 at the break.

Darran O'Sullivan blasted home a 52nd minute goal and the Kingdom pressed on with scores from Colm Cooper and David Moran.
