Kildare attacker Johnny Doyle has described his All-Star award as a dream come true.
"I was nominated twice but you'd get a feeling the way things are going, and I never really thought I would get picked in the past. But you would be feeling this year you might be there or thereabouts," he told The Irish Sun.
"It's great for the club (Allenwood). In many ways we're punching above our weight. So to be the first player to bring an All-Star back to the club is a great honour for me," said Doyle, who finished as the football championship's top scorer with 1-49.
