Dublin take control of Division One

Dublin took over the outright leadership of the NFL Division One table with a runaway win in the Leinster derby against Kildare.

They coasted to a 2-20 to 2-7 win at Croke Park, with Jack McCaffrey and Bernard Brogan hitting their goals.

Brogan finished with a 1-5 tally to down a Lilywhite side that had goals from Emmet Bolton and Seanie Johnston.

Kerry face a desperate battle against relegation after slumping to a fourth successive defeat, this time at the hands of All-Ireland champions Donegal, losing by 1-12 to 0-5 at Ballybofey.

Michael Murphy hit a 1-5 tally for the Ulster men, who pushed on in the second half after Kerry had defender Tomas O Se sent off on a straight red card.

Kingdom woe was compounded when Kieran O'Leary missed a penalty.

Cork ended Tyrone's unbeaten run with a convincing 0-14 to 0-8 win at Healy Park.

Colm O'Neill (3) and Donncha O'Connor (2) led the way as Cork moved into a 0-8 to 0-4 interval lead.

Man of the match Aidan Walsh hit three points, and O'Neill finished with five as the Rebels dominated on their way to a runaway win.

Ronan O'Neill top-scored for Tyrone with two points on a day they will quickly want to put behind them.
