GAA count cost of technology

Goal-line technology will only be considered if it is financially viable to install it at all major grounds, the GAA has confirmed.

GAA president Christy Cooney revealed that a further presentation will be made to the Association in the near future.

"It would have to be deliverable not just in Croke Park but also at county grounds. We would have to look at the cost of that and just how realistic it is to have it installed all over the country," he said.

Calls for the introduction of technology intensified this year in t wake of the Leinster SFC final controversy, when a goal was awarded to Meath which should have been disallowed.
