Galvin: Kerry needs fresh blood

Kerry star Paul Galvin has admitted the Kingdom need to unearth some new talent if the county is to return to supremacy.

"It's pretty obvious that we need to find bodies. Not only have we lost players, we have lost top class players - and a good few of them. We are definitely rebuilding," Galvin told the GAA website.

"There is a huge opportunity there for the younger players. If you are a young player you are in a great position because there are spots up for grabs.

"Any fella who shows the old bit of attitude and a bit of desire to get in there, and who doesn't care about reputations, just wants to make a spot for himself, he is on a winner. That's all it takes, a fella who doesn't care about who is in front of him or behind him, just wants to play."
