Gilroy opts for midfield trio

Dublin manager Pat Gilroy has named three recognised midfielders in his side to face Meath in Sunday's Leinster SFC final.

Michael Darragh Macauley will wear the number 14 shirt as replacement for the suspended Diarmuid Connolly, but is unlikely to play as an orthodox full forward.

And Gilroy has stuck with the midfield partnership of Eamon Fennell and Denis Bastick that played in the semi-final win over Wexford.

The only other change for the Croke Park title decider is the selection of Ciaran O'Sullivan in defence, at the expense of Ger Brennan.
