Kerry eased their NFL relegation worries with a 0-11 to 0-7 win over Cork.

Johnny Buckley top-scored for the Kingdom with four points as they carved out a vital result.

And there was a further boost with the return to action of ace attacker Colm Cooper, who came on as a second half substitute for his first appearance of the season.

All-Ireland champions Donegal face a battle to avoid the drop after losing by 1-10 to 0-9 at the hands of Mayo.

Man of the match Barry Moran inspired the Connacht men with a huge midfield performance, while Michael Conroy scored the only goal of the game in the second half.

Tyrone booked their place in the semi-finals with a 1-13 to 0-10 win over Kildare.

Mark Donnelly grabbed an eighth minute goal and Stephen O'Neill landed a couple of superb points to give Tyrone a 1-8 to 0-3 interval lead

Goalkeeper Niall Morgan and O'Neill finished with three points each, while substitute Paul Cribbin top-scored for the Lilywhites with three.
